Repair All and map upgrades
At a repair NPC, Repair all equipment includes damaged worn equipment and items in your bag, skipping fully repaired items and materials. Review costs and chances before confirming. Optional protection starts off each visit; Human maximum durability still decreases.
Open Ctrl+M and use the map’s category controls to check access or unlock mini-boss and boss information. Normal hunting areas and 24-hour boss clearance markers are free. Paid unlocks are permanent for that map and shared across eligible characters on the account; world and level requirements still apply. Boss positions update every five seconds while the map is open. Website maps show catalogue camps, not the live in-game boss feed.

Character progressionHuman and Devil progression: STR, DEX and INT
Release 85
Follow the ordinary hunting ladder, prepare equipment and find ingredients for the next tier. Each illustrated guide includes normal and advanced advice, melee/caster filters, camp locations and exact crafting requirements.
These guides can also be saved as HTML for offline use; the icons are included.
Equipment & economyDevil crafting: preparations, blood and gems
Release 85
Devil crafting now includes the missing Human-style material, preparation, food and potion routes while keeping Devil equipment progression. Use Devil-world ingredients; similarly named Human items are separate items.
- Hellfire Oven (Pandemonium, 374, 962): food crafting and basic groceries.
- Cursed Table (383, 945): potion crafting.
- Infernal Craftsman (379, 937): Prepare (including Nahwans Blood, Nonghons Blood and Baekuns Blood), accessories and Gem cutting. Select the gem-cutting option for small-to-medium and medium-to-large recipes.
Starting the blood routes: hunt Altered Beasts or Evolved Beasts for Large Livers, Inguit for Herb and Murking for Dried Frog. Pamoth supplies the Devil-world White Tiger Meat used in copied recipes. These drops are chances, not guaranteed rewards. Check each recipe for its exact amounts and crafting skill before preparing materials.
Diamonds: Earth Elementals can drop small Diamonds. The gem-cutting menu shows the exact ingredients and skill for each larger size. Other gem families also have native Devil routes.
Open the crafting journal for ingredient directions and the recipe requirements. The Prepare menu handles preparation chains. Crafting can fail under the usual production rules; inspect costs before confirming. Equipment recipes and their existing progression have not been replaced.
Getting startedAutomatic updates, downloads and repair
Release 85
Install the automatic launcher once. Existing players should choose their current Reborn folder containing active.txt and versions. Your usual shortcut then checks for updates before starting the game.
- Close both game windows before installing an update.
- Launch normally and let the progress bar finish. A fresh installation downloads about 3 GB. Healthy existing installations reuse their verified game assets.
- If the connection fails, choose Retry. Completed verified parts are retained for the retry.
Updates are signed and checked before activation. Your previous working version and saved settings are retained. Play installed can start your verified existing game when the update service is unavailable, but the game server can still refuse an outdated build.
For repair, close both game windows and open the launcher. It checks installed files and automatically downloads a verified repair when needed. If the launcher itself will not open, reinstall the launcher from the download page into your existing Reborn folder. You do not need a separate game installer or manual patch.
Getting startedTwo accounts, one installation, two game windows
Release 85
You only need to install Reborn once. Open two game windows and sign into a different account in each window. Each account controls its own character.
- Start the game normally. On the login screen, click Open second client below the account controls.
- If you are already playing, open Options → Display → Open second client instead.
- Sign into your first account in Window 1 and your other account in Window 2. Select a character in each.
- Use Alt+Tab, or click the window you want to control. For side-by-side play, choose a windowed size under Options → Display → Window size, then move the windows using their title bars.
The title bar identifies Window 1 or Window 2 and the character. The second window keeps separate login/window preferences; character keybinds follow that character. Changing window size keeps the same original 800 × 600 world view.
If clicking Open second client appears to do nothing, check the taskbar: the existing second window may already be open. Window 2 cannot open another copy through this button. If an account is already logged in, use the other account rather than trying to play two characters on the same login.
Before patching, close both game windows. One patch updates the shared installation. Premium belongs to each account; it is not shared merely because both windows run on one PC.
For a hunter-and-mage pairing, meet on the same map and follow the healer EXP sharing guide. You still control each window yourself.

Link to this guideEquipment & economyAuction House: sell, bid, buy out & collect
Release 85
The Auction House is for trading with other players. In Thousand Year Town (Human, zone 1), visit the Auction Dealer at 314,118 or Auctionboard at 321,119. In Pandemonium (Devil, zone 9), use the Auction Dealer at 413,885 or Auction Board at 415,887. Choose the auction service; its panel has Browse, Sell an item, My listings and Claims tabs.
Sell an item
- Put an unequipped, tradable item in your inventory. Open Sell an item and select it.
- Choose the quantity, starting bid and optional buyout. Prices are the total for the whole listing, not per item. For example, 10 potions at a starting bid of 1,000 Barr means 1,000 Barr for all 10.
- Set buyout to 0 for bids only. A positive buyout must be higher than the starting bid.
- Choose a duration: 10 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 3 days or 7 days.
- Click Review listing, check the item, quantity and prices, then Confirm. The listed items are held by the auction until settlement; they are no longer available in your bag.
Bid or buy immediately
Use Browse to search by item or seller, filter category/tag, or sort by price and ending time. Select a listing and hover its item to check requirements, durability, upgrades and bonuses.
Enter your bid and click Review bid → Confirm. After a first bid, the minimum increase is 5% of the current bid, rounded down with a minimum increase of 1 Barr. The required next bid is shown for you. Your bid is held while you are the highest bidder. If someone outbids you, collect your refund from Claims.
If the seller set a buyout, choose Buyout and confirm to buy immediately. A bid reaching the buyout also completes the purchase. You cannot bid on your own listing. Keep enough Barr in your character's purse.
Manage listings and collect results
My listings shows your sales. End early awards the item to the current highest bidder, or returns it if there are no bids. Cancel listing returns the item to your Claims and refunds any bidder. Read the confirmation before either action. Unsold listings do not automatically relist.
Open Claims for purchased items, unsold/cancelled returns, sale proceeds and bid refunds. Select an item and click Collect this item; leave room and carrying capacity in your inventory. Click Collect Barr for money. Amounts above your purse limit remain claimable.
If a listing has ended but is still visible, press Refresh for settlement. After a delayed reply or disconnect, check My listings, Claims and your inventory before repeating the action. Premium does not discount another player's asking price.
Barr limits: your purse holds up to 4,294,967,295 Barr; warehouse deposits are limited to 1,000,000,000 Barr. A listing can start at up to 2,000,000,000 Barr and have a buyout up to 2,000,000,000 Barr. Bidding cannot exceed the purse limit. Prices apply to the whole stack, not each item.
If a Barr claim would exceed your purse capacity, the claim stays available until you make enough room. It is collected as a whole claim. Auction prices and seller proceeds do not receive a premium discount.
Some NPC material exchanges use an older window labelled AUCTION(BUY). Those are NPC exchanges; this guide describes the player Auction House with the four tabs above.

Link to this guideSpells & abilitiesLearning spells: Human & Devil
Release 85
Human Blue, White and Black Magic have separate trainers. Use the Magic Trainer for Blue Magic, the Priest for White Magic and the Black Wizard for Black Magic. Devil native magic uses Black Magic; visit DaeYoo for the town lessons.
Learn the initial spell before its upgrades. Trainers check the previous rank, your skill, attributes, moral or class where required, and the listed payment. Carry materials in your bag. Some upgrades replace the earlier rank; this is shown in the learning route.
Advanced Continental lessons require your race to own Continental, with no war in progress. Humans use Tamori (Blue), Gwang (White) and Spirit Magician (Black); Devils use Madae. Losing Continental does not remove spells you already learned.
Master weapon assessments accept two Fortune Pouches or two Sacred Aura Spirits. New Devil ++ / +++ spell routes use these rare alternatives too. The existing Conti POS shops are IC for Humans and Alucard for Devils, zone 15 at 13,19. Pouches cost 100,000 POS for one, 150,000 for two or 200,000 for three. POS is separate from Barr.

Link to this guideSpells & abilitiesBlink & Arcane Echoes
Release 85
Human Blink: Magic Trainer in the starting town, under Staff techniques. Requires Staff 120 and learned MP Saver. Pay 10,000,000 Barr plus either two Fortune Pouches or two Sacred Aura Spirits. Devil Blink keeps Chandalir’s existing Wizard lesson and its quest-based material reductions.
Equip a usable staff, choose Blink and right-click a ground destination in Battle or PK mode. It travels up to four player spaces. Base cost is 100 MP with a 60-second cooldown; MP Saver and Rapid Magic Casting can reduce these. It needs a legal landing and does not pass through arbitrary walls. Duel/GvW areas restrict Blink.
Arcane Echoes: Humans learn ranks I–III from the Magic Trainer; Devils learn from DaeYoo as Wizards. Rank requirements are level 50 / 100 / 150, INT 100 / 1,000 / 2,000, and Staff plus native magic skill 100 / 140 / 170. Humans use Blue Magic proficiency, Devils Black Magic. Check the linked reference for each recipe and previous-rank requirement.
Echoes last three minutes and share a three-minute summon cooldown. Configure learned attack spells in Echo controls first. They begin on Hold; explicitly order an attack. The attacking copies use 50% and 25% damage. Support controls can assist healing and cleansing; Echoes follow a successful Blink.
Recipes and trainer requirements
Link to this guideSpells & abilitiesStealth, Iron Skin & weapon mastery
Release 85
Bow Stealth requires a bow; Knuckle Stealth requires knuckles. For Devils these belong to Archer and Fighter respectively. Iron Skin requires Sword, Spear or Axe and is available to Devil Swordsmen, Knights and Warriors. Humans may learn techniques for multiple weapons but must equip the correct weapon to use one.
The three techniques require level 150 and cost 5,000,000 Barr per lesson. Stealth lasts 20 seconds with a three-minute cooldown; hostile actions reveal you. Nearby opponents can see a warning shimmer. Iron Skin lasts 30 seconds, reduces physical damage by 10%, clears and prevents Poison and Slow, and has a five-minute cooldown. Use it before a stun: it cannot be activated while already paralysed or concussed.
Existing weapon auras have their own skill requirements. Selected advanced aura bonuses require matching weapon skill 195 and increase at character levels 110, 150 and 200. Check the ability description rather than assuming every passive scales the same way.

Link to this guideBounties & travelExpeditions: supplies, loot & extraction
Release 85
Choose a difficulty and party size, then enter your group’s private expedition. Separate groups use isolated runs. If you disconnect, rejoin the same run while its timer is still active; disconnecting does not create a new entry.
Expedition supplies belong to your character and can only be used in expeditions. Unused purchased doses carry into future runs. Expedition HP/MP potions restore 100 and cost no Barr. Buff potions and scrolls follow their own prices. Use the in-game supply items and belt where supported.
Expeditions award loot and Barr, with earned XP tallied toward rested XP rewards instead of direct expedition leveling. Support participation includes useful healing, buffs and cleansing, alongside damage and tanking. Rested XP potions are bound: they cannot be traded or dropped.
Use the expedition’s extraction/reward flow and check the reward chest for unclaimed items. Leaving by a normal teleport is not the same as safely extracting. Read the warning before leaving; do not assume everything carried during a run has been secured.
Link to this guideBounties & travelRead the map & find a hunting camp
Release 85
Use Ctrl+M in game or open Mini maps on the website. Select the map and monster you want to hunt. Normal monster locations are hunting areas: they describe where creatures spawn, not exactly where every creature is standing. Camp capacity and respawn information describe the configured encounter.
Boss and mini-boss information have separate permanent map unlocks. Select a character on the website so its account access, world and level can be checked. The game’s home-town showcase is free for its native world.
Live map markers: teal shaded regions are normal hunting camps. Gold dots are live mini-bosses; orange dots are live bosses. Positions refresh every five seconds while the current map is open. A ring means the monster has survived for at least 24 hours; these clearance markers are free. A stale feed is cleared rather than left looking current. “Unclaimed” means alive 24 hours, not reserved for a particular player.
Use Find a monster and the Only button to focus one species. Turn off categories you do not need. Website camp maps remain catalogue information; live boss dots are an in-game feature. Private expeditions retain their checkpoint map system.

Release 85
Use your world’s crafting NPC and choose the relevant discipline: weapons, armour/clothing, accessories, potions or cooking. Recipes check the appropriate making skill and materials. Check the preview for the output and requirements before spending high-end upgrade materials.
Rare recipe items can teach additional crafts. Right-click to learn and read the confirmation; you must meet the required making skill. Owning one recipe tier does not automatically teach every other tier.
Crafting orders offer objectives and rewards for makers. Read the order’s exact item, quantity and reward before starting. Bulk delivery orders require handing over finished items in manageable batches; crafting the items alone does not finish the delivery. Accepted goods are consumed. Both worlds receive 2× crafting-skill work. See current game rates for the separate bonuses and limits.

Link to this guideWars & PvPGuild vs World: town warfare
Release 85
GvW is a scheduled contest over the guild town. Coordinate with your guild and follow the town-war announcements and objectives. It is separate from a privately arranged guild duel.
The current schedule is Human GvW on Friday 19:00–20:00 and Devil GvW on Saturday 19:00–20:00, UK time. The server accounts for British Summer Time and GMT. Meet with your guild before the window, arrange damage and support roles, and watch the objective announcements during the battle.
Town ownership and settlement are recorded by the server. Normal PK assumptions do not replace the war’s own rules. Use the live announcements for any administrator-run events or changes to the schedule.
Link to this guideWars & PvPWar of the Worlds & Continental ownership
Release 85
WotW is Human versus Devil competition for Continental ownership. The scheduled window is Sunday 19:00–20:30 UK time, adjusted for BST/GMT.
The ending checks the three control stones in zone 15 at 4,54, 18,26 and 42,30. The attacking race must occupy at least two when the war resolves to take ownership. Organise defenders and support around the objectives rather than treating kill totals as the win condition.
Ownership also controls access to the advanced Continental trainer lessons. Your race must own the area and the war must be over to learn those upgrades. Spells already learned remain available after a change of ownership.
Link to this guideWars & PvPGuild duels & agreed stakes
Release 85
A guild duel begins with a challenge between guild leaders and acceptance by the other leader. Read the proposed terms and stake window before confirming. Both sides must complete the agreement; a challenge on its own does not start a finished wager.
Use only items and Barr you intend to stake. Guild storage access is restricted during the agreement so the same assets cannot also be withdrawn. Results and settlement are recorded by the server. This is distinct from the scheduled GvW town contest and from casual PvP.
If a challenge gets stuck, cancel through the game where available and report the guild names and time. Do not repeatedly create new stakes to try to repair an interrupted agreement.
Link to this guideWars & PvPPK, moral & choosing your magic school
Release 85
PK mode enables hostile player actions subject to the current map and event rules. Check whether you are in ordinary hunting, a duel, GvW or WotW before fighting; these contexts have separate handling.
Moral affects character titles and can gate Human magic. Some spells require a particular moral range and school. Hunting can improve moral; killing players can move it adversely according to the target and your current moral groups. Do not assume every kill has a flat penalty.
Reborn retains increased positive hunting moral and reduced PvP moral losses. Premium boosts positive hunting moral gains by 50%; it does not reduce the PvP penalty further. The 2× test leveling boost does not alter moral rates.
Changing between Human White and Black schools affects the character’s school state and training. Read trainer messages before switching. Blue Magic and Devil native magic follow their own rules; use the learning reference for the spell you want.

In-game reports: type /bug the NPC will not teach Heal to send a private report to the team. A successful submission is acknowledged. You can also use the website support/forum routes.
Vexer sells The Abyss travel scroll. He explains the 50,000 Barr purchase first and offers Buy or Cancel; merely talking to him will not make a purchase. Wrong-version or integrity notices include a Patch download page button.
Link to this guideBounties & travelHunting panels, movement and clearer shops
Release 85
In Enhanced or Enhanced Smooth fullscreen mode, spare side margins can display your PvE hunting session and monster radar. The gameplay area stays the same size. No panels appear when the screen has insufficient margin space. The radar uses visible monster information already received by your client; it does not reveal players or extend sight into unseen areas. These panels hide in PvP/war contexts and when the game loses focus.
Hunting session continuity: The character session is retained while the map loads. Once fullscreen hunting tracking starts, switching apps, using another monitor, minimising, changing display settings or opening dialogs keeps the same counters. Panels appear only in suitable fullscreen margins while the game has focus. Your radar filter selections survive hiding and returning. XP/hour uses server elapsed time and includes idle time in other apps; it needs one minute of the current session before displaying a rate. If updates are delayed, the panel waits for a fresh server snapshot instead of showing a false zero. A new area or safe PvE session restarts counters. Logout and disconnect clear them. The counter measures ordinary-monster direct and damage-over-time XP; healer shares and boss rewards are excluded.
The hunting panel shows ordinary-monster XP per hour, kills, average damage and related training information. Shared healer XP and boss rewards are excluded from this session measure. Expand details for more statistics. Radar filters only show eligible visible monsters; mini-boss and boss filters have their existing level requirements.
Num Lock toggles automatic movement following your mouse cursor. It uses your selected walk/run mode and routes around walls and occupied cells where a path exists. If boxed in, it waits and retries; moving the cursor can choose a different route. Item-belt shortcuts (including rebound keys), right-clicking a potion belt slot, F9/F10/F11/F12 and Ctrl+M keep Auto-move active. Ground clicks, unassigned scrolling, combat actions, Escape, the toggle binding and typing into chat stop it. NPC and shop windows also stop movement. Tap Ctrl to switch walk/run without cancelling Auto-move. Rebind Auto-move in Options → Keys. NPC/shop services, lost focus and death also stop it. Auto-move does not attack or pick up items automatically.
Rebinding a letter such as Q/W/E to a belt slot uses Enter-to-chat so the letter activates your binding during play. While typing in an input field, letters type normally. Personal F9–F12 panels and private-message windows allow actions in the uncovered world; shop and NPC conversations remain blocking.
Shop unlocks: Rank 1 precedes Rank 2. A locked equipment button opens the correct rank page, showing the cost, included items and any prerequisite rank. Opening it makes no purchase. Unlocking access, paying an item’s permanent discount and exchanging the materials are separate actions. Ability lessons show their own requirements; use Hunting quests for the NPC’s quest list.
Equipment & economyCombine equipment: matching rarity, mixed suffixes
Release 85
At Sagonari or Zorak, open the Combine tab. Other repair NPCs retain their Combine Tags option. Bring three eligible items from the same equipment family and with the same rarity in your bag. Their suffixes may differ: for example, two Sword of Deceit-S and one Sword of Deceit-R. Equipped items and ordinary weapons with + upgrades cannot be selected.
- Select the item you want to keep if the attempt fails. Its row is highlighted and marked 1 · Keep on failure.
- Select two compatible items, or press Auto-select 3. This only fills the selection; it does not consume anything. The other two highlighted rows are marked Consumed. Incompatible items are disabled.
- Choose Review combination. Check the keeper, sacrifices and displayed odds, then confirm. Cancel is selected by default.
Upgrade chances: Hardened → Rare: 20%; Rare → Epic: 8%; Epic → Intense: 2%. All three inputs must have the same rarity. Normal, Intense, Legendary and Mythical items are not inputs for this service.
Mixed suffixes: if an upgrade succeeds, two -S and one -R produce an 80% chance of -S and 20% of -R. The majority rule works for other supported suffix combinations too. Three different variants each have a one-in-three chance. Three identical variants keep their variant. The preview shows the exact results before you confirm.
On failure: item 1 remains unchanged; items 2 and 3 are consumed. On success: the three items become one item of the next rarity. Relative wear and repair degradation are retained. If its suffix changes, the result uses the correct catalogue name. Combining stops at Intense.
Link to this guideEquipment & economyEquipment tag rolls and Friend bonuses
Release 85
For eligible ordinary equipment tag rolls, the distribution below applies. Quest rewards, guaranteed tags, special drop rules and NPC trader quality upgrades keep their own stated distributions.
| Tag | Dropped | Crafted |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | 5% | 5% |
| Hardened | 73.9992% | 73.9989% |
| Rare | 12% | 12% |
| Epic | 6% | 6% |
| Intense | 3% | 3% |
| Legendary | 0.0005% | 0.001% |
| Mythical | 0.0003% | 0.0001% |
Standard Human and Devil Friend variants start at +5 in their applicable stats, gaining +1 per quality tier: Hardened +6, Rare +7, Epic +8, Intense +9, Legendary +10 and Mythical +11. Separate enhancements still apply. The level-85 and level-90 mixed Friends retain their lower +3 and +4 starting bonuses. Swifthands variants also gain one point per tag tier on positive effect values; this does not increase their proc chances.
