PC requirements

These are practical starting points for the current Windows client, pending wider hardware testing. Classic and Enhanced use the same modern graphics foundation; Classic simply reduces visual effects. There is no maximum PC specification.

MINIMUM TARGET

Classic graphics

For the original-style look and the lightest visual preset.

System: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Processor: 64-bit quad-core CPU with SSE4.2 support
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Modern integrated graphics, such as Intel UHD 620 or AMD Vega 8, with DirectX 12 feature level 12_0 or Vulkan 1.0 support
Storage: 8 GB free space; SSD preferred
Display: 800 × 600 or higher

RECOMMENDED TARGET

Enhanced graphics

For smoother filtering, richer colour, wider lighting and spell glow.

System: Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Processor: Recent quad-core Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 or better
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: Dedicated graphics, such as NVIDIA GTX 1650 or AMD RX 570 with 4 GB VRAM, or better
Storage: 10 GB free space on an SSD
Display: 1920 × 1080 recommended

A stable internet connection is needed for online play. These targets are guidance, not a guaranteed frame-rate promise; busy towns, large battles and graphics drivers can change performance. Older Windows versions, macOS and Linux are not currently supported for this Windows build.

Choose your look in game.

Your first launch uses Enhanced Smooth. Choose Classic, Classic Crisp, Enhanced or Enhanced Smooth in Options to suit your screen and performance. Your choice is saved for future launches; you do not need a different client.

Help when you need it.

Client not starting or running slowly?

Use the latest Reborn client and update your graphics driver. Try //gfx classic and a smaller window if performance dips. For V1 Public Test, new players should install the full client and then the latest patch from the download page. Existing players only need the single latest cumulative patch, even if they skipped earlier hotfixes. Close both game windows before updating; installation steps and release notes are on that page.

Having trouble signing in?

Your website login uses your game account. Account names are not case-sensitive, but passwords must match exactly. Existing three-character passwords are supported.

Found a bug?

Use /bug in game. Include what happened, where it happened and any error message. You can also ask other players in Help & Questions or check the bug tracker.
