26 OCTOBER 2026 · BUILD 87
Smarter training. Clearer combat.
Automatic Free Mode, responsive combat feedback and temporary testing benefits.
What changed
- Automatic Free Mode now applies per target when an ordinary hunt cannot provide any applicable base-stat training. It prevents wasted character EXP while preserving eligible weapon skill, Moral, party charisma and normal loot. It does not switch your manual /freemode setting: moving to a suitable target restores normal gains. A single hit without a visible stat increase is not the trigger; fractional training potential counts. Human CON punching remains eligible while CON can train. Existing death-recovery and private-expedition rules remain separate.
- Combat feedback: corrected duplicate/delayed physical hit reactions, including Forest Troll encounters. Confirmed HP changes update immediately; arrows keep their impact animation at arrival. Attack speed is unchanged.
- Resource bars: HP, MP, stamina, weight and EXP refresh immediately across Human and Devil normal/compact HUDs.
- During the public test, all valid accounts—including new accounts—receive temporary Premium and full rested reserve. The +100% rested bonus doubles eligible hunting EXP on top of the base rates: Human 234⅔× and Devil 96× the original reference before other bonuses. Other training types retain their own rules. These accelerated rates help testing and are not the official-launch rates. On the live release, Premium will be purchased with in-game Barr; free testing access and full rested will end.
- Hunt Steward services from the preceding hotfix remain enabled. Human town: 290,118; Devil town: 451,875. The Human Steward replaces ALUCARD RANK1. The two added Warehouse Keepers by the Reagent Table and Tanner were removed; other warehouses remain.
- Weather details: hover the small weather icon above the HUD. It explains the active bonus or why it is inactive in a safe town or sheltered area.
- Loot pickup: items remain collectable within two spaces, respecting walls and blocked corners.
- Party loot: one eight-second protection window, with six party distribution choices.
- Equipment upgrades: all tracks use the skill-scaled upgrade chances. Leech and accessory tracks stop at +5; a failed attempt consumes its upgrade material and preserves the item. Failed +6–+8 attempts on eligible higher-cap tracks destroy the item.
- Close the game and reopen the existing launcher to install build 87.
